Who were the world’s biggest solar panel manufacturers in 2019? Well, GlobalData has released their list. It’s important to note that this list is based on the amount of solar panels shipped, and not a list of the best quality or performance.

As expected, the vast majority of the panels in the top 10 are manufactured in China, even where the company is based elsewhere. Canadian Solar is of course based in Canada, but most of their solar panels are manufactured in China.

But, with the current Coronavirus epidemic having an impact on production and supply, we may see non-Chinese panels increase their production and market share, especially within Australia.
